TOUCH, the geography of sensation by Fleshmap

May 6, 2009

“Fleshmap is an inquiry into human desire, its collective shape and individual expressions. In a series of studies, we explore the relationship between the body and its visual and verbal representation. ”

As they say, Fleshmap is researching about human body sensations. I think their survey could interest many of us who work with sensitive and intelligent materials.
Because our design is most of the time “human centered”, we also have to study physiology and human perceptions of space.
Their survey is based in two parts. The first “Skin to Skin” focus on comparing men and woman feeling of touch, and the second Sorting out Desire” is about excitement.
You can also take part of the research and answer to some question in order to complete their inquiry.
